Welcome to my blog!

Isn't it nice to have your own presence on the web. This is especially true when you need to hide away from the daily routine and relax by spending a little valuable time by sharing common interests such as painting. Hi, my name is Sergio O. de Cuba, happily married with a beautiful daughter named Kirsten.

As you will notice from the picture, this is the famous Aruba fofoti tree. Yes, now you know that I am from the beautiful island of Aruba.

I am a native born Aruban and grew up most of my life in Savaneta, Aruba's first capital (still a small town). I have lived for six years in the Netherlands where my father used to work for a plastic processing plant in Rotterdam. Later in life, I studied and received my degree in business administration in the United States, furthermore I studied and received a degree in e-business from the Netherlands. Currently, I am employed by the Aruba Government as an internal auditor/business process manager. In my spare time I work as a strategic management advisor for independent businesses.
Where does painting fit into my curriculum? Well, it doesn't.

I have been painting at a very young age. I took painting lessons from the well-known artist Maria La Torre and since then my passion and love for the arts grew to unachievable heigths. Eventhough I do not consider myself as an artist, I enjoy experiencing the journey of my imagination by expressing my feelings and thoughts by painting.
